RECLAMATION

We are the men of Evergreen Park Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated located in Chicago, IL.  Being Chartered as a reclamation chapter, on August 27, 1993, and the only reclamation only chapter is the entire organization, we exist to reclaim Brothers of the organization that are no longer active in the organization.  This includes Brothers that have recently graduated from college as well as Brothers that have not been active in years and since they were initiated.  We seek to re-open those Brothers eyes to the original reason they chose to join this noble Klan.  We are built to reclaim and it’s what we do.  As such Reclamation is no one Brother’s responsibility.  We have one Brother that leads the charge.  His name is Brother Derrick Sanders and he has been reclaiming Brothers since the early 1980’s.  You have to be passionate about reclamation to even do it.  Under the reclamation leadership of Brothers Sanders we as an entire chapter take on the daily task of reclaiming Brothers into the Chapter.  Our Brand has grown so much in the past few years, we now have inactive Brothers reaching out to us to join the Chapter.  That’s a sure sign that you are doing something right.
